About UK Veterinary Services

UK Veterinary Services is a free directory of vets across the UK. Every town page lists the businesses we know about with their address, telephone number, Google rating and website, ordered with the best rated first.

Closed businesses are removed from the listings, and each entry has a directions link, plus call and website buttons where we have the details.

Common questions

How many vets are listed in the UK?

We currently list 5,021 vets across 885 UK towns and cities.

How do I find vets near me?

Type your town into the search box above, or pick it from the A to Z list. Each town page shows every listing with its address, phone number, rating and a directions link.

Are the ratings reliable?

Ratings come from Google users. A higher score with plenty of reviews is a better guide than a perfect score from a handful of reviews.

Does UK Veterinary Services show emergency or out-of-hours vets?

Not reliably. Listings come from public Google Places data, which does not always show out-of-hours arrangements. In an emergency, phone a vet first and check whether they can see your pet.

Does UK Veterinary Services check vets' registration?

No. We do not vet or endorse any practice. Vets must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, and you can check this before you book.
